Ajani is the first cat we adopted after getting married. Josh and Ajani are what is referred to as loving nemeses. Ajani loves to lay on everything and anything of Josh's whenever possible.

Suri is our drain pipe kitty. One time Tara, Josh and Carl were camping and while Tara was in the restroom she heard the phrase she had always dreamed of: there are kittens in a drain pipe that need rescuing. It did not matter that it was dark. It did not matter that it was raining. The three of them rescued the six kittens from that drain pipe. And one of them even ended up in our home.

Tara and Josh moved to the Grandmont-Rosedale neighborhood of Detroit in the Fall of 2020. Shortly after they moved, Bagheera decided he was their cat. Using the magic power of cats he convinced Tara and Josh to feed him multiple times a day, get him multiple houses, and to leave chairs around the yard for him to lay in.
